Helpful Instructions On How to Submit a Comment

Option 1- Submit an eComment

Step 1:

Go to ferc.gov. On the left-hand side of the screen, click the “FERC Online” tab.

Step 2:

When you click “FERC Online,” it will pull up a window. On the right-hand side, there is a grey-highlighted section. In that section, click “eComment”

Step 3:

This will bring you to a screen that prompts you to fill out your information. ***BE SURE TO USE AN EMAIL YOU HAVE ACCESS TO!*** Once you fill out your information, you will receive an email to proceed.

Step 4:

After about 2 minutes, you will receive an email from “efiling@ferc.gov”. Open this email. Click the link. ***IMPORTANT: THIS WILL TAKE YOU TO THE SCREEN TO LEAVE A COMMENT. THERE IS A TIME LIMIT ONCE YOU START TYPING. IF YOU HAVE A LOT TO SAY, CONSIDER FIRST TYPING YOUR COMMENT INTO A WORD OR GOOGLE DOC SO YOU CAN COPY AND PASTE IT TO THE COMMENT SECTION. THIS WILL AVOID YOUR SCREEN TIMING OUT***

Step 5:

Below your information and above the comment box, there is a section asking for a docket number. Enter docket number: p-14787-004. It will pop up a box referencing the rHydro Seminoe Pumped Storage Project. To the right, click the green check mark to select the docket.

Step 6:

Leave your comment. Below the comment box to the left, click the “submit comment” button. And you’re done!


Option 2- Mail-in Comment:

If you would prefer to mail in a comment, it can be addressed to:

WE WANT TO MAKE THIS AS EASY AS POSSIBLE. IF YOU TYPE YOUR COMMENT, YOU CAN EITHER:

1. Drop it off at the 240 S. Center Street Casper WY, 82601. WE WILL MAIL IT FOR YOU.

OR

2. Send us your comment via email to info@friendsofthenorthplatte.com with the subject line “Comment”. WE WILL PRINT IT AND MAIL IT FOR YOU.
